¡Hola a todos!! This has been a really good week for us here in Alborada, and we tried to enjoy it the most we could! I once again am found with very little time so I will keep it to the important bits! Making mashed potatoes with a Mickey apron! One of the most exciting parts of this week was Thursday! As you all know, Thursday was thanksgiving! I didn't really think anything was going to happen for us on thanksgiving since it isn't really celebrated here! But on Monday after our weekly devotional we received an invitation from the bishop's wife to go and eat thanksgiving dinner with them and the senior couple here in the mission! As the week built up we continued to become more and more excited for the big day, she asked us the important things that needed to be brought, and trying to keep in mind the country we lived in, we told her that turkey and mashed potatoes are the important parts! The day of, we arrived at 4:30 and talked a bit with the bishop and when his wife

¡Hola! Well the truth is, nothing too exciting happened this week! We've just been working hard and trying our best to keep this area going strong! But I'm sure I can find some experiences from this week to fill out the email! Starbucks will be very much missed when I leave this place! This week was my first chance to run a division here in Alborada! Usually during divisions I'm sent off to some other area and I can just focus on learning and contributing to the work! But this week it was my turn to receive a missionary from the district and have a day to work together! So I brought over Elder Moreno who is the Financial Secretary here to my area on Wednesday  morning and we started our divisions! They went really well, It was a little weird at first walking around my area with a different companion but we saw some really great miracles happen together! After we ate with a sister in the ward, we went to a lesson that we had set up with the sons of one of our old friends,

¡Hola mis amados coherederos con Cristo! This has been a week full of hard work and a lot of big steps forward in the area! We've been working hard to be more consecrated and we've been seeing some great help from Heavenly Father in that regard! Once again I'm strapped for time haha! We found fluffy dogs! The first piece of excitement this week was on Wednesday. Every transfer each missionary goes on divisions with their leader so that they can receive guidance and direction in how they can improve as a missionary! And after three transfers the Zone Leaders finally decided to do divisiones with us here in Alborada! I've explained divisiones more in depth in the past so I won't describe it again, but it was decided that I would go to the area of the Zone Leaders! So the morning of Wednesday we went to the mall about halfway between our two areas and split off with our new companions for the day! We headed out after dropping off my bag and we hit the streets! We tau

Holis!!! Well this week has been super good! I feel absolutely drained of energy but it feels so good! I love the work here, and the Lord is doing marvelous things with the people of Xalapa!! Evan's baptism Like I said, this week has been super good! We've been working our tails off trying to be diligent for the Lord and for the people here! We have been blessed with some amazing friends to teach, but most of our friends are getting ready for baptism, so that means when they get baptized, there aren't gonna be any more people in teaching. That being said, we know that's not good, so we've been working hard to find some new people, and oh how God has placed the right people in our path this week! We've been trying to just focus on contacting people in the street as we walk to lessons and to members house's, and contacting the people we already have on our phone that haven't been fully contacted and taught yet! One thing I learned very early on in my mis

¡Hola a todos! This week has been really good! Not a whole lot of exciting things, just working hard and seeing fruits from our labors! I got sick about halfway through the day yesterday, and rested a lot so I didn't have time to start my email, so I really don't have time to write a long email, but I'll make sure it's sweet! Originally a tourist costume, but it quickly changed into a Mexican farmer! So like I mentioned, I have a new companion, he is from Sinaloa and my first Mexican companion! I'm a third of the way through my mission and I haven't had a Mexican companion until now! It's great, but he also speaks English so it's not that different haha! He is such a good kid, he's still in his training, which makes me his mom, but he is an amazing missionary! He has come in with a true desire to serve the Lord and do his will, and he knows how to teach, there isn't much I can teach him, but I'm still gonna give it all I've  got! In fac

Hola hola! So this week has gone by crazy fast! I don't have a lot of time but I'll try to make it interesting! Elder Galvez and me So this week has gone by suuuuper fast! It felt like a short week since there were a lot of things to do, but not a lot of it was teaching unfortunately. So we only had a few lessons this week, but the few lessons that we did have were great!! This week we taught one of our new friends named Carl! We found Carl about a week or two ago, we were looking for a reference we got on our phone, and had to knock on the doors of an entire neighborhood (we never ended up finding the reference :/)! And as we were knocking we came across Carl and he invited us to come back in a few days and teach him! So on Wednesday we stopped by and taught him in his workshop! We taught him the first half of the Restoration of The Gospel of Jesus Christ, and we learned that he has a great understanding of The Bible and has great faith in Christ! Sometimes I think that it i
