¡¡Hola a todos!! I write this email to you all on the brink of death. The rains kept coming and I've caught a really bad cold! I guess I only get one week of health and 18 of sickness haha!! But besides rain and sickness it's been a slower week, so not too much to mention :/ My new companion, Elder Mendoza. This week has been pretty interesting, a little stressful, but that gives flavor to life. I started the week off by staying Monday night with the closest companionship to Zacapoaxtla, two Elders who live in Tlatlauqui, about 45 minutes away. It normally wouldn't be anything interesting, but because they ran out of gas, I had to take a shower by heating up some buckets of water and showering one bowl at a time! It was so cool. I felt like an olden times knight showering after a long day of battle! The next day was even more fun! I had to chance to help one of our Zone Leaders receive the new missionaries. It was interesting to think that just a few short months ago I was

¡Hola hola! This week has been strange because we weren't able to do much work mainly because it was the last week of the transfer and Elder Nielson's last week. We had a good week nevertheless!   After a meal with Dayanna and her family.  We basically made our rounds of our entire area and first on the list was heading to the sierra (mountain range). We woke up early on Tuesday and headed to Ecatlan, a little pueblito about 2 hours from Zacapoaxtla. We stopped by so Elder Nielson could see the members there before heading out. When we got there one of the members (Hermano Carl) wanted to make Elder Nielson's last trip special. So after making some tortillas with them and eating chicken organ soup we headed out on a little hike to this corn field so we could see the entire Pueblo! To be honest the view was pretty amazing! It's still the rainy season so everything looked kinda foggy/gray which kind added to the ambiance. Once we finished our little hike we headed over to

¡Hola! I know I say it every week, but this week has actually gone by super quickly, but also a full week! A good amount of stuff has happened so I'll just go through the week. Our P-Day last week was spent on Teziutlan. Every Monday our zone, or the missionaries that live in our general area, meet in Teziutlan at the stake building and play games, crack jokes, and eat tacos haha! But we realized that we haven't spent any time with our companions. In this zone, usually we just stay home and call our families. So we decided to spend some time with our companions. It was super fun. We played a lot of soccer!! I'm worse than I remember haha. Nevertheless, it was so much fun! After playing soccer for a while we played a missionary favorite sport, Cheetoball. I didn't know it existed before I came out on the mission, but it is now part of me. Cheetoball is like free-for-all dodgeball. When you get hit, you sit down. If you can touch someone who is still standing, you can c

¡Hola  a todos! I'll be honest, nothing much happened this week, Elder Nielson has been deathly ill and we haven't been able to really leave the house, but I will still give all the details of the week! So like I said, we've been stuck inside for the majority of this week while Elder Nielson recuperates from his sickness. So that means we can't really do the traditional work we normally do, or really much work at all, but I tried to make sure I took advantage of our time. The big thing I've been feeling this week is an unusual amount of patriotism, it might be because a small part of me misses the United States (possibly a big part of me haha), or maybe I'm just a good old fashioned red blooded American  !! Whatever the case may be I've found the best way to quell my patriotic hunger (and also the only way) is to listen to talks given about the United States. You would be surprised how many BYU speeches have been given about our beloved country. If you ever
