Muy buenos días mis queridos estimados hermanos en Cristo! This week has been pretty good! Well considering we lost a few days of work. But we still were able to have some really good lessons and see some progress with our friends!! MLC! We started off our week heading to the MLC in Xalapa. That's the reason we were out of town for about two days. We left on Tuesday morning and got back Wednesday night! On Tuesday we did our normal traveling to Xalapa adventures, we arrived and headed straight to Costco haha!! I'm sure I mentioned that I got a Costco card when I was in Xalapa, so we have to use it!! But it ended up causing me an existential crisis, when we got there we tried to order our food but my card expired, I assume it's the same system in the states. I just had to renue it, but I realized that this implicates that I was in Xalapa more than a year ago, and I'm only going to be here for another 5 months, so I decided it didn't make any sense haha! It was just w

Muy buenos dias! La verdad ha sido una semana de gran éxito aquí en Independencia, nos está yendo bastante bien! Espero que sea así en estas semanas que vienen! Hello!! Like I said it's been a great week! I don't have a lot of time to write an email but I'll put some bullet points and this coming week I'll shoot out a good one! ︎ Transfer news! I'm staying here for my fourth transfer with a new companion named Elder Mendoza! He has 10 months in the mission and is from Hidalgo! We get a long super well!! ︎ We put two baptismal dates with some really awesome friends! One is a little girl names Laney who is the daughter of an inactive member! Our other friend is Andrew who is someone that was referred to us by a recent comvert! Their dates are for the 10th and the 3rd, respectively, please pray thar everything can go well these coming weeks so they can make this covenant with or Heavenly Father! ︎ The work has been good! We've been meeting new people, talking with

Muy buenas tardes mis queridos hermanos en Cristo!! This week went by really fast! It was a really full week! We had the chance to meet a lot of new people and have some cool finding experiences! We lost a day of teaching because we had to travel and do some baptismal interviews but the Lord helped us have success in the other things we did!!  The sunset form the church after our English class! I also hit 18 months today! That means I'll be home in a little under 6 months which is nuts! All the Hermanas from my CCM district go home this week which is totally weird, I don't feel old yet and I'm definitely not slowing down (at least  not too much I hope!) I'm glad the Lord still has 6 months set aside for me to work in his v ineyard !! Alright so let's set the stage for this week! Last week was rainy and petty fresh, but this week was super hot! It wasn't actually as hot as it was a few months ago but it's just different. In June we had days where we got up to

Bueno entonces!! Well another week in the books here in Independencia! We're still working hard out here trying to keep things rolling!! Billiards Honestly this was a pretty hard week, first off we lost basically two full days of work! And the days that we did have were full of lessons that fell through. But at this point in my mission I'm used to the normal day sports we get sometimes, so we're making sure to keep pushing forward! It's interesting that when we have success in an area there almost always comes a time when you feel like all the momentum you've gained just drops off and you feel kinda stuck. But I have seen from personal experience that if we don't give in and just keep doing what we know we need to do the success will come! Please pray for our friends so they can continue progressing towards their first covenant with God!! So like I said we basically lost two days of work, those two days were Interviews and the Zone Conference! So the day of the

Muy buenos dias a todos, espero que se encuentren super bien!! This week absolutely flew by! I'm not entirely sure what happened haha but let me fill you in on what I can remember! Angel and us after we finished our tree! So I want to spend some time just updating y'all on our friends in teaching! First off our friend Eddy, we've been teaching Eddy pretty consistently over the past couple weeks and have seen a great desire to do what is right! He reads the Book of Mormon and wants to go to church! But it hasn't been easy for him, his family is inactive and many aren't ready to go back to church, he's still pretty young at 13 and can't travel all the way to the church by himself. And one of the biggest trials is his dad. His dad is technically a member of the church but he says that he got baptized because he felt obligated and that he didn't want to do it. He says that he doesn't believe in God and he doesn't want Eddy to be baptized. His mom wa
