Hola!! Well another week in the books. It's crazy to think we're already halfway through this transfer because these past three weeks have really flown by!  So for my entre time in Zacapoaxtla there has been a hermano in the branch who has been talking to us about "chimochiua." You might be wondering what that is, I know I was, until I eventually deciphered that "chimochiua" means eat (still not 100% sure though). So for the past nine weeks I have been getting bombarded with invitations of chimochiua and on Tuesday all my dreams were realized!! We had our comida appointment with this hermano and his wife in a pueblito called Ecimita! It's only about an hour away and their house is right off the main road. When we got there I was properly chimochiua-d!! They gave us green mole, spaghetti, corn, atole, and a mountain of mangoes!! It was amazing! That was the second most amount of food I've eaten all week!! His brother lives in Georgia so I gave him a

¡Buenas, Buenas! Well another week down, La Republica de Mexico is still trying to kill me, but I'm not done yet!  So like I said, my body still doesn't like this country very much. I was sick for only one day this week though so that is an improvement! When someone finds out that you're sick here, everyone blames the temperature. If it's hot, you got sick because it was hot. If it's cold, you got sick because it was cold. If the weather is perfect, you got sick because it used to be hot and now it's not. But they will never admit that I got sick because of those funky street tacos! But seriously it's still been an adjustment but I'm getting better and hopefully one day, before I go home I will be accustomed to whatever it is that is making me sick here haha! A member's cat in Huizilan. This week was mainly filled with travel, we spent a lot of time in the "Sierra" which is what they call the mountainous area with a lot of little pueblitos

¡Hola Hola! It has been another good week and I'm getting more confident but maybe not for the best haha! This week I've felt like I'm finally starting to get used to living in Mexico and being a missionary. Lately the buildings haven't been looking as weird, in fact when I first got here the architecture was one of the biggest things that made it clear I wasn't in Kansas anymore haha! But the other day I realized that it's not strange to me anymore. I haven't twisted a doorknob or seen carpet in almost three months but I'm fine with that now :). But with my new found comfort and confidence has also brought about some problem. I've been thinking a little less in the specifics of what I'm saying and have been making less sense when speaking as a result! I've caught myself just putting in English words in the middle of a Spanish sentence without realizing it. I definitely feel like I've got a nice long road ahead of me though my companion

¡Hola Hola! Another week has absolutely flown by, it was the last week of the transfer but we made sure not to let up the work! We had to stop teaching a lot of people this week, I know that we have been doing all we can and all our friends are truly wonderful people, so I trust that one day in this life or the next they will come to gain a testimony of the divinity of Christ and the truthfulness of this work! But because we had to let some people go we also had to spend some time this week finding new people to teach and now that we have been given approval to knock doors we've been enjoying that haha! It has been giving me a weird nostalgic feeling from my door to door sales time, but the nice the thing is that I'm not selling anything but inviting people to enjoy the gospel of Christ which is much more fun! We met some pretty good people that we will be teaching in the coming weeks! I also learned that the rhythm of "shave and a haircut, two bits" is very offensive

¡Hola! This week has flown by, party due to the fact that we actually did some work, and it felt great!  So after being on my death bed last week we had a lot of work to do, most of that work was stopping people on the street and sharing our message. Elder Nielson says its not the most effective way to meet people that are ready for the gospel, but sometimes you just gotta put your boots on the ground! So because of this we have met some really interesting people this week. Most people just have half hearted conversations and give us fake numbers, but this one time we had a conversation with a man that lived on Maui for 10 years. His English was super good, and the funny thing is that when he spoke in English he had a Hawaiian accent; it was interesting haha! But we also met some people that have been waiting for the message of Christ for a long time, we set a few new appointments for this coming week so we will see how it goes! Elder Nielsen and I staring into the sun. Unfortunately
