Buenas tardes a todos!! Alright y'all it's been an awesome week! A lot of stuff happened so I'll make sure to give y'all the details!! My companion and me with our matching ties!! Alright to start of out week, we went out and saw some new homes! That's right folks, my companion and I are moving! Let me be clear, the house is awesome, it's probably the best house I've had on my mission. It's a 2 story, 2 bed 2 bath, with a living room and kitchen! And it's just my companion and I living here so we get to enjoy all of it for ourselves (and we also have couches!). But not everything can be perfect right, even though the house itself is great, we've had some little issues with the people that live here in our little alley! My last two houses were great in the sense that our neighbors didn't really bother us, usually because they were too far away and we never interacted with them! But here it's been a little different, obviously I shouldn...

Hola hola!! Another week of grinding, but a good week!! This week was a lot like last week, but maybe just a little more successful! It's still been a real grinding as of late, just trying to keep this area moving straight a long, but we've seen same great miracles this week! So our friend Daniel who got baptized a few weeks ago is such a stud! We went and visited him last week and while we were there we met his sister and her boyfriend, Emma and Cash! We started to talk with them a bit to get to know them, and Cash told us that about 6 years ago he was also learning from the missionaries, but all of a sudden they stopped coming by. Cash was excited to talk with us again, and Emma went to church a few times when she was just a kid, so we talked very briefly and set a day to come back! When we returned, we talked with them about the Message of the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! They were so attentive and responsive during the lesson! It was great to have the opportun...

Buenas tardes a todos!! This week felt like it lasted 10 years and 2 seconds at the same time, but it's been really an amazing week! Same old stuff going on, but we love the same old stuff that's happening here! Breakfast with "vampire juice" Laura's baptism So first things first, like I mentioned last week we had transfers, and one of those transfers was that they put Hermanas in my district to replace an area that had Elders before! Last transfer the Elders that were there struggled quite a bit, and had some trouble with obedience. I worried about them a lot trying to find out how I could help them, but in the end there was only so much I could do. But when I saw the transfers I saw a huge ray of hope! The hermanas are basically always pretty obedient and hard workers, and I knew that is what that area needed! But when they came in the area was a little rough, their area book was all out of sorts, the house was super dirty, and they just felt kinda uncomfortab...

¡¡Bueno entonces!! New transfer, new me! Finished off week 6 strong, it was a grind but we saw some miracles this past week!! I'm short on time again this week because we're in Xalapa, but I'll put in all the good stuff!! A picture of me with a cow So like I mentioned, right now we're in Xalapa, but we were also here last week! We were notified that I had to come down to renew my green card now that I've hit a year on the mission! So Tuesday morning we grabbed a bus down here and visited a family that I got to know really well in Alborada! The next day we went to immigration, but they told us that they couldn't finish the process, and we would have to come back again! So we drove down here on a bus last night and slept with the missionaries in Alborada! We were able to make it to immigrations and get everything sorted out! I'm still legal here, yay!!! I'm glad I'm not gonna have to c0me back and lose more working days, but it was nice to see Xalapa...

¡Hola mis hermanos y hermanas en Cristo! Another week down, going into week 6 of the transfer really excited! The work is great and the field is truly white already to harvest!! Bread and chocolate milk for dinner, what more could an Elder ask for? I feel like a broken record at this point but I have been thoroughly enjoying San Juan Xiutetelco! The work here has been treating us so well, and it just hasn't slowed down!! This week we have been working to find new people now that we're about to finish the transfer, we want to leave it looking good to start the next transfer! So like we usually do we've been visiting our inactive friends to see if we can help them get back to church, and to see if there is anyone they know, family, friend, that would like to strengthen their relationship with Christ! From there we've been getting good results! In fact one person in particular stands out, our new friend Patty! As we were searching around for our inactive friends we found a...

¡¡Buenísimos Días amigos!! I've officially hit my year mark on my mission, one year ago today I was set apart as a missionary and representative of Jesus Christ! The past year has been amazing, I have seen myself grow so much, not just physically as I've gotten older, but mentally and spiritually! This service has been one of the most important things I've ever had the opportunity to take part in, and I'm so glad I still have a year to do it!! Breakfast with Vicky and Dayanna!! We have been working super hard this week, we are almost finished with the transfer and we want to finish strong, so we've been putting in the work! And we've been able to see great fruits! We were able to schedule 5 baptismal dates this week and had 6 people in church!! It was a great week, even though it was also a hard week in some aspects!! This week we had a special meeting at the stake center, it was a devotional titled "mission emphasis". This meeting is for prospective m...

¡Hola a todos!! Well it's been a great week! Not a whole lot of crazy new things have been going on, just the normal stuff we've been doing the past three weeks, working hard to find people and trying to teach as many people as we can! But we did have some pretty cool experiences this week to share! My companion and I in our first photo together when I went to pick him up! Well we've been continuing to visit Dalila pretty consistently, especially since we have her on date to be baptized. We really need to focus on her and make sure that she is ready for when her baptism comes along! This week we stopped by and brought a member along with us as we taught The Plan of Salvation, it was such an amazing lesson! We know that Dalila's husband is working in the United States so she has been really preoccupied with that and trying to take care of her son! So as we talked about how the families could be eternal the spirit really entered the room and we were...
