¡¡Bueno entonces!! New transfer, new me! Finished off week 6 strong, it was a grind but we saw some miracles this past week!! I'm short on time again this week because we're in Xalapa, but I'll put in all the good stuff!! A picture of me with a cow So like I mentioned, right now we're in Xalapa, but we were also here last week! We were notified that I had to come down to renew my green card now that I've hit a year on the mission! So Tuesday morning we grabbed a bus down here and visited a family that I got to know really well in Alborada! The next day we went to immigration, but they told us that they couldn't finish the process, and we would have to come back again! So we drove down here on a bus last night and slept with the missionaries in Alborada! We were able to make it to immigrations and get everything sorted out! I'm still legal here, yay!!! I'm glad I'm not gonna have to c0me back and lose more working days, but it was nice to see Xalapa...

¡Hola mis hermanos y hermanas en Cristo! Another week down, going into week 6 of the transfer really excited! The work is great and the field is truly white already to harvest!! Bread and chocolate milk for dinner, what more could an Elder ask for? I feel like a broken record at this point but I have been thoroughly enjoying San Juan Xiutetelco! The work here has been treating us so well, and it just hasn't slowed down!! This week we have been working to find new people now that we're about to finish the transfer, we want to leave it looking good to start the next transfer! So like we usually do we've been visiting our inactive friends to see if we can help them get back to church, and to see if there is anyone they know, family, friend, that would like to strengthen their relationship with Christ! From there we've been getting good results! In fact one person in particular stands out, our new friend Patty! As we were searching around for our inactive friends we found a...

¡¡Buenísimos Días amigos!! I've officially hit my year mark on my mission, one year ago today I was set apart as a missionary and representative of Jesus Christ! The past year has been amazing, I have seen myself grow so much, not just physically as I've gotten older, but mentally and spiritually! This service has been one of the most important things I've ever had the opportunity to take part in, and I'm so glad I still have a year to do it!! Breakfast with Vicky and Dayanna!! We have been working super hard this week, we are almost finished with the transfer and we want to finish strong, so we've been putting in the work! And we've been able to see great fruits! We were able to schedule 5 baptismal dates this week and had 6 people in church!! It was a great week, even though it was also a hard week in some aspects!! This week we had a special meeting at the stake center, it was a devotional titled "mission emphasis". This meeting is for prospective m...

¡Hola a todos!! Well it's been a great week! Not a whole lot of crazy new things have been going on, just the normal stuff we've been doing the past three weeks, working hard to find people and trying to teach as many people as we can! But we did have some pretty cool experiences this week to share! My companion and I in our first photo together when I went to pick him up! Well we've been continuing to visit Dalila pretty consistently, especially since we have her on date to be baptized. We really need to focus on her and make sure that she is ready for when her baptism comes along! This week we stopped by and brought a member along with us as we taught The Plan of Salvation, it was such an amazing lesson! We know that Dalila's husband is working in the United States so she has been really preoccupied with that and trying to take care of her son! So as we talked about how the families could be eternal the spirit really entered the room and we were...

Hola! Buenas tardes a todos!! A great week here in good old Saint John! Still working hard out here trying to gather scattered Israel!! Behind us is the biggest wasp nest I've ever seen! This week hasn't been very different than last week, at least in the sense of work. We've stayed with our rhythm just trying to visit as many inactive families as we can and the rest of the time just teaching lessons! It's honestly perfect, everything we do is just straight find, teach, and baptize!! Now that I don't have to worry about all the Facebook stuff like I did in Xalapa, I feel like I'm a horse who just got let out of the starting gate!! Though I will always be grateful for the experiences I had in Alborada, and my magnum opus ad has gotten 130 references for the mission, so I'm glad I was able to leave it on a good note! But now that I'm here and free to just work as hard as I can to live my missionary purpose it feels so liberating!! And we've been cont...

Bueno buenas tardes!! This week has been super great!! My new son and I have been having such a fun time in our new area!! The pyramid literally right in front of our house while it's lit up at night! So like I briefly mentioned last week in my message, I have been transferred ! My new area is very different, but not in a bad way, in fact, in a very very good way! The main town in my area is called San Juan Xiutetelco, which is where the church building is found! Right next to San Juan is a town called Jalacingo, which is our second big focus here in the area. So these two main towns are where we do most of our work and where the majority of the members live. First of all, I absolutely love it here!! We've only been here for a week but I have been able to really see great potential in San Juan and enjoy what is already is! The people that we have had the pleasure of meeting are absolutely wonderful, everyone is so nice and so very friendly! Because we are both new here we...

Buenas tardes!! It's been a great week!! We've been having some struggles but we made sure to finish this transfer off strong!! The Quartet final send off So I wrote my entire email with my normal 5 paragraphs but when I put in the photos it all got deleted haha!! So I'll just have to write some bullet points really fast to fill this week! But next week we'll be back to our regularly scheduled programing!! Staring straight into the sun for the selfie Jesus photo bombing our picture Shrimp cocktail! -I am leaving Alborada, headed back to my first zone to an area called San Juan, I'll be district leader again, but this time I'm training a brand new missionary!! I'm nervous but excited to meet him tomorrow and have a new challenge!! -Saying goodbye to all my friends here was really hard, but I know I'll never forget them and the experiences I've had with them! -Had some great divisions with an Elder who is going home today! He's finishing his missio...
