P-Day update week 88, 10/23/2023

Muy buenas tardes mis amigos!!

I'm really short on time this week but it's been a really good week! New things, new experiences! I'll throw in some quick bullet points from this week

Two of the Champions, Elder Rohm and Elder Buer who are in their last couple weeks of the mission!

-My new are is called "Los Lagos" and my two companions are Elder Moreno and Elder Buer. I'm in my training to replace Elder Buer as the new Assistant to President. This next transfer I'll be with Elder Moreno until the NEW new Assistant to President comes in to replace Elder Moreno!

-Learning the behind the scene's stuff of the mission

-Traveling to Martinez and Teziutlan for their Zone Conference, traveling with Presidente Villanueva, Hermana Villanueva, and Mari is so much fun!!

-Divisions in Independencia before the Conference, we found a lot of people and placed 3 baptismal dates! Huge miracles!!

-Traveled to Teziutlan from MTZ, we had an Icee!! Elder Buer gave me some great advice on how to fulfill my new assignment!

-Slept in a Hotel for the first time in a very very long time!

-MTZ/Teziutlan Zone Conference! I'm still learning the technical side of my assignment (controlling the audio and video) so it wasn't perfect but it went by pretty smoothly!

-The ward is huge! Very excited to work with them!

-We found a recent convert in the area that we haven't seen in almost 4 months! We had a lesson with them and their daughter who isn't a member of the church!!

That's it for this week! I'm sorry it's not the best email out there! But I'll make sure I give yall a really good one this coming week! I love you all so much!!

It's been a week! Not necessarily a great week, but a week nonetheless! Not too much happened so it'll probably be a shorter letter this time. Before anything, I'll let you guys know that I was once again sick this week. This whole week I've been wrestling with a nasty cough and just really bad cold-like symptoms. One day I called the medical coordinator of the mission who is also the President's wife and asked for some advice. She told me it might just be allergies and prescribed me Benadryl at night. Unfortunately it didn't really work. So I just decided to hang on for a few days. This morning I woke up and I couldn't smell :// I went to the pharmacy with Elder Mendoza and we bought a Covid test, we also had an extra test result block thing. We headed home and I took the test. Oh, he got me! That's right folks I have COVID! So that's why I felt like death this week. That means I'm just going to have more time to study this coming week!  Positiv

P-Day update week 107 y 108, 03/11/2024

Hola a todos! Espero que hayan disfrutado mucho su semana y que hayan disfrutado mis correos!! Well well well, I don't know when this happened but we got to my last email. These past few weeks have been a little bit of the same but there are some cool experiences I wanted to share with y'all!! Amairany's baptism! First we finally finished all the house inspections in the mission! After three weeks and many many hours of traveling we visited the 68 different houses in the mission and made sure that everyone was living in good conditions and properly cleaning their home! We saw some really cool quite clean houses, and some very not cool very dirty houses, it was definitely an experience!! One of the coolest things is that with this trip I officially got to see every single area of the mission, from Teocelo in the south then to Cerro Azul 9 hours all the way to the north. P-Day update week 19, 06/27/2022

 ¡¡Hola a todos!! I write this email to you all on the brink of death. The rains kept coming and I've caught a really bad cold! I guess I only get one week of health and 18 of sickness haha!! But besides rain and sickness it's been a slower week, so not too much to mention :/ My new companion, Elder Mendoza. This week has been pretty interesting, a little stressful, but that gives flavor to life. I started the week off by staying Monday night with the closest companionship to Zacapoaxtla, two Elders who live in Tlatlauqui, about 45 minutes away. It normally wouldn't be anything interesting, but because they ran out of gas, I had to take a shower by heating up some buckets of water and showering one bowl at a time! It was so cool. I felt like an olden times knight showering after a long day of battle! The next day was even more fun! I had to chance to help one of our Zone Leaders receive the new missionaries.
